Older cars have dimmer brake lights but often have good brakes. The car close behind getting a better look may have a dimmer driver and less good brakes. These bulbs are almost twice as bright as conventional brake lights. Using the latest COB SMD LED technology, they use only 7.5 watts, and so reduce the load on brake light switches. The design uses large amounts of aircraft quality aluminium alloy to ensure a very long reliable life, so they are guaranteed for minimum of 5 years but will last much longer.
