This may be the ultimate front sidelight and can turn maplights that use the same 9mm bayonet (233 or BA9S) fitting into searchlights. I uses a high power COB LED light source mounted on solid alloy heat sink base to generate an improbable amount of light from only 1.5 watts (at 12v DC). It is bright enough, when fitted into a pilot light in the headlight, to use as a daytime running light.
