The original PL700 headlights were much loved and are much missed. The few left in good condition cost fortunes and use very old technologies, so performance has been limited. Previous reproductions have been available but the quality of design and construction has been abysmal. Now, after a great deal of work and investment, I am proud to offer these extremely high quality headlights. They have been granted all of the relevant approvals, and this is the first time that has happened with a headlight developed to produce perfect beam patterns with either halogen or (my) LED bulbs fitted. They come in 6 different versions, UK spec with halogen bulbs and no pilot light, UK spec with halogen bulbs and with pilot light , UK spec with high power LED bulbs and no pilot light, UK spec with high power LED bulbs with pilot light or Euro/USA spec with either halogen or LED bulbs ( no pilot version at present). This pair is for Euro/US spec with high power LED bulbs and no pilot. The LED bulbs produce three times as much light as filament bulbs, but draw less than half as much power. They produce light which is ivory coloured, not the blue/white of modern cars. The price represents a substantial saving compared to buying the headlights and LED upgrade kit separately.
